I used a non adjustable truss rod but you can use whatever style you prefer. Just router out the channel for the truss rod to fit in snugly. For an adjustable truss rod, you do not need to epoxy the rod into place to allow for movement when adjusting the neck. For a non adjustable truss rod you can epoxy it in place since it will never need to be adjusted.
